Join our dynamic team at CoreWillSoft GmbH as a QA Engineer! We are a company specializing in innovative security solutions for critical facilities and infrastructures, building automation, and IoT physical access control software. 

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our team in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products that are used by multiple businesses across Western Europe. Our Agile team operates from multiple locations with headquarters in Bonn, Germany, and is responsible for the complete software development lifecycle; including initiating, implementation, and operation of the physical access control software operating multiple electronic locks over different radio protocols and RFID identification media.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute test plans that align with the product roadmap and company (or our customer) needs. 
  • Perform manual testing on physical security systems and extensions, ensuring their functionality and reliability. 
  • Document test results and provide detailed test run reports for further analysis and decision-making. 
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and development team to identify, prioritize, and address product issues. 
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to ensure product quality and efficiency. 
  • Analyze product performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvements. 
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and support, to ensure a seamless customer experience. 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance.

Your skills: 

  • Experience in manual QA testing, preferably in physical security systems or similar domains. 
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. 
  • Experience with test planning, execution, and reporting. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Advanced Business English language knowledge 
  • Experience with product development methodologies. (Agile, SCRUM / Kanban) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous process improvement. 
  • Basic knowledge of computer science, programming, or computer engineering skills, which can help in understanding the system architecture, identifying potential issues, and communicating effectively with the development team. 

 

Nice to have: 

  • Experience with IoT products in building automation and physical access control. 
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Understanding of general security concepts. 
  • German language skills.
