The BHE Video Committee focuses on standardization and guideline development through DKE, CENELEC, VdS, International, European, and national working groups in video, as well as other institutions. It actively contributes to the following standards:
- IEC/EN62676 “Application Rules”
- IEC62676-2-11 “Remote Access – Police”

During the meeting, committee members discussed the newest advancements in video security, such as
- GDPR-compliant face pixelation
- AI integration
- management software integrations for access control, intrusion, and alarm monitoring stations.
- The use of hybrid video system deployments was also discussed.
