1. Online Access Control & wireless locks. While offline locks are gaining importance providing huge cabling savings, they are mainly connected, i.e., wireless online. Hubs that connect directly to the control panel over RS485 using OSDP are the leading integratable solutions in this area.
2. Rising Security System Integrations: The integration between physical security systems has seen exponential growth. These integrations mainly follow two streams:
- pure security use-cases
- added value integrations, customised to a company’s business processes.
In the latter scenario, workflows are becoming more critical than ever, emphasising the need for solutions that seamlessly adapt to unique business needs.
3. Mobile Credential Evolution: The mobile credential space is swiftly gravitating towards NFC and native Wallets such as Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet. BLE credentials, on the other hand, are finding their niche in specific applications, such as parking cases.
